The State of Tennessee has announced 52 digital literacy grants are set to be distributed across community libraries across the state. They were made possible by Governor Bill Haslam’s Broadband Accessibility Act. Each grant will be used for one of three things: digital training classes, new technology, or STEM programs. The following libraries in the 105.7 The Hog listening area will receive this grant: Coalfield Public Library, Harriman Public Library, Millard Oakley Public Library in Livingston, and the Wartburg Public Library.
