Here we are facing a quite an Arctic air mass that is going to be with us from Thursday through Sunday with high temperatures only in the upper 20s to the low 30s by Friday and Saturday and low temperatures could drop to 10 degrees by the weekend. A winter weather advisory for Thursday afternoon and night for an inch or two of snow possible with the highest amounts in the very Northern Plateau area into Southern Kentucky. Warmer weather returns next week with rain and temperatures in the 50s. The national high temperature on Wednesday was 86 at Marathon Florida and the low was 26 below at ingomar Montana.
