Very active weather across the volunteer state for the next 24 hours with showers and Thundershowers. The wind will pick up tonight from the south with gusts up to 30 miles per hour possible and that threat will continue through Friday. With the circulation of Cindy moving right over Tennessee it could spin off a few severe thunderstorms on Friday anywhere in middle or East Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, I will be monitoring that closely and be with you frequently Friday morning and afternoon. Things improve for the weekend with clearing skies on Saturday and sunshine on Sunday. Temperatures for the weekend will see highs of 75 to 80 and low temperatures in the 50s.
