STEVE NORRIS WEATHER – WARM AND WINDY FRIDAY

Record warm temperatures across Tennessee for Friday with a high in the low to mid 70s, Skies will be partly cloudy with Gusty Southwind up to 30 miles per hour . Showers and thunderstorms developing Friday night with a few possibly severe over the northern plateau and into Southern Kentucky, the threat looks mostly to be straight line wind. The most intense part of this storm will probably not arrive on the plateau until about midnight Friday night and they could be weakening by that time but I will be keeping a close eye on it and keep you updated. Showers ending and much cooler on Saturday with a high in the upper 40s . Sunday is looking mostly sunny with highs in the low 50s and low temperatures in the mid 20s . The national high temperature on Thursday was 101 at McAllen Texas and the low was three below at Yellowstone Montana
