TDOT has placed proposed road projects in Cumberland and Fentress County on its construction plans for 2019-2021. Officials look to improve five miles of Highway 127 between I-40 and Potato Farm Road, then a second phase later involving the stretch of highway between Lowe Road in Cumberland County to Little Road in Fentress County. TDOT officials say the Wilder Road Bridge in Fentress County is scheduled for upgrades in 2019.
