TWO ARRESTED AFTER ONE FOUND WITH BLOOD ALL OVER HIM IN VEHICLE

Roane County authorities and medical first responders went to the Pilot gas station on Lawnville Road Monday morning to a report of a man with blood all over him passed out in a vehicle. Officers found 20-year-old Ashaunde Jamal Thaxton with an injury caused by a broken beer bottle during an altercation at a Knoxville bar. An hour later, a friend of the victim, 19-year-old Glenn Holden Feezell arrived and supposedly stumbled in the parking lot. Reports state Thaxton attempted to strike Feezell but was stopped by deputies. Both men were arrested for public intoxication and Thaxton was additionally charged with domestic assault.
