APPLICANTS SOUGHT FOR FUTURE DISPATCH VACANCIES

While there are no current openings to be filled, the Crossville-Cumberland County Central Communications Center is taking applications for future dispatch positions. Dispatchers answer emergency (911) and non-emergency calls for assistance from the public. They also use radio communications to send public-safety agency representatives (law enforcement, fire and medical personnel) to assist the public when the need arises.

This is an exciting and rewarding career, but dispatching emergency personnel is a serious job that requires a high level of talent, customer service and multi-tasking skills.

Applications may be picked up at the Crossville-Cumberland County Central Communications Center, 42 Southbend Drive in Crossville, Tennessee 38555. To be considered for one of these future dispatch positions, submitted applications must be completed in full, and returned no later than 3 p.m. CDT on Friday, April 27.

Please contact Dispatch Director Rodney Shoap with any questions. He may be reached at 931-484-2230.
