CROSSVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE
Crossville police were called to a Maranatha Lane residence Monday evening, along with Tennessee Department of Corrections Probation and Parole officers, who were conducting a probation visit on 45-year-old Robert Harrison Grumbein, III. During a search of Grumbein’s bedroom, TDOC officers reportedly turned up a contact-lens case containing a crystalline substance. Grumbein confirmed it was methamphetamine. The arrest report states TDOC officers found a small plastic bag containing two marijuana roaches, and a bag containing one and a half pills, along with multiple items of drug paraphernalia – syringes, a cut straw, a cue tip, syringe plunger and multiple plastic bags frequently used to package narcotics. Grumbein was arrested and charged with simple possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
