A two vehicle head on collision in northern Cumberland County this morning resulted in one injury and charges for another driver. The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a 2008 Dodge Avenger driven by 43-year-old Daniel Fisher of Clarkrange attempted to pass another vehicle around 6:30 this morning and collided with an oncoming 2003 Ford Mustang operated by Marian Stewart of Crossville head on. Stewart was flown from an established landing zone at the scene by an air medical helicopter to U.T. Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Fisher was charged with reckless driving, improper passing, failure to exercise due care, failure to maintain a lane of travel, and driving without insurance. The highway was closed for a few hours this morning as a result of the accident.
